Portable Appliance Testing, commonly known as PAT testing, is a way of checking your electrical equipment to see if it is safe and is vital to protect your business and its employees. According to the Health & Safety Executive, portable appliances account for 25% of all reportable electrical accidents. By regularly carrying out PAT Testing you can ensure compliance with The Electricity at Work Regulations 1989, which requires that any electrical equipment that has the potential to cause injury is maintained in a safe condition.
